Where do we being to explain how much fun this pre wedding photoshoot in Paris was. Paris was my first love (ok ok after David and the boys) and every time we get an inquiry to shoot there, I’m already packing my bags. Because, Paris. What’s not to love about the city of lights and romance, of great artists and poets. The city that makes my heart beat faster, and makes me wish I was fluent in French (which I’m not, shame on me and my French roots).
It became clear to us when mailing with Karen, that the photoshoot would be beyond stylish. With every idea she told us about, we started looking forward to it more and more. She even made her own miniature Karen doll. You’ll see when scrolling through the pictures how stylish and creative this awesome woman is.
We started early morning at the Trocadero, and were spoiled with the most amazing sunrise. A day that couldn’t have began any better. Despite the early hour, we were not the only ones wanting to catch the Eiffel Tower bathing in the first morning light. Now I’m not really an early bird, but boy was it worth it. If you ever travel to Paris, do make the effort to get up early and watch the sunrise there. After that you can go have some croissants and coffee at one of the little cafés in the area 😉
From the Tour Eiffel to the Louvre, from the Jardins du Luxembourg to a picturesque Paris café, not a location we did not visit that made us smile. It was a long but utterly fulfilling day. Karen and Cyril are just amazing people and felt like friends right away. Maybe we might even have made some plans for more photoshoots in other countries :-p
But for now, let’s look back on a gorgeous day in France. Feel free to see yourself and wander along with us on the streets of beautiful Paris. Because forever the city of love it will be.
