It has been quiet around here for quite some time. Being pregnant with our third son, running a business and renovating a house turned out to be a very busy combination which affected my blogging here. I guess life happened. Nevertheless, in that time I was also very busy photographing lots of big moments for amazing people that I will soon share here.
One of them being the Murray family. The sweetest, most loving family I have ever met. They moved here from the US and now live in beautiful Leuven. And lucky us, they asked us to be their photographers.
Late last year Katie contacted us regarding her maternity session. She was expecting her second daughter early February and wanted to have this precious time in life captured. Because I myself just gave birth to baby boy number three, David went out to take their pictures.
Because it has special meaning, the ‘Oud Begijnhof’ in Leuven was chosen as the backdrop for their maternity pictures. And despite the cold weather in late december, the session turned out just beautiful. They are such naturals and their interaction is so lovely to witness. When editing the pictures I could just feel the love they have for each other and little Juliette.
Few weeks later they welcomed little Alice into their family and invited us over to their home to have their pictures taken. This time as a family of four.
What an honor it was to photograph this adorable family! And how smitten I still am by little Juliette, who stole my heart with her big blue eyes and the cutest little smile!
