Where should I begin to describe this wedding day. It was beautiful, it was gorgeous, it was stunning. But those words simply don’t cover it. When two very creative souls plan a wedding, the result is close to magic.
Evelien has a concept store called Atelier eMTee in Wetteren. Gerd is a creative master with wood and creates the most beautiful things. Needlessly said they made their day next level. Their styling was flawless. Every little detail was carefully thought out which showed in every part of the day. From the bridesmaids dresses, to the groomsmen’s sneakers, to the flowers, the custom made love sign. Not one detail did not add up.
We started the day at the beautiful Ganda Rooms & Suits where Evelien was getting ready with her bridesmaids. The day was filled with a lot of giggling, happiness and of course hairstyling and make-up going on. Girls will be girls.
After their ceremony followed by some family pictures, the guests could enjoy some refreshing drinks at the church square, a very welcome moment on an extremely warm day. While the guest were enjoying their drinks and lunch, we took Evelien and Gerd along to the Spiesenbos for some couple pictures. A moment for them to catch their breath and for us to capture their love.
Their party took place at the lovely Geuzenhof in Massemen. With flowers, delicious food, a giant cake, a band and a first dance under a sky full of stars. To top it off they surprised their guests with the best announcement. Mid april a little baby will join this creative couple and make them a family of three. Can you guess what their announcement did to this hormonal, five months pregnant photographer :-p You know it 😉
