When Joke and Ben came to our studio to talk about their wedding, there was this instant connection. We talked and talked and time went by so quickly, it felt like they were friends we had known for a long time.
So when they asked us to got to Normandy with them for their engagement session we couldn’t be more delighted! With some french roots and a big love for traveling we couldn’t be more excited! As expected we enjoyed three days of fun, laughter and lots of photos. Oh and food! Lots of food. That’s what you get when traveling with a chef 😉
We spread the session over the course of the days. We took them up to the cliffs at sunset, down to the sea and even in the cold water. For the right picture, they were willing to go all the way and did not complain one second. We climbed on the cliffs, walked through tunnels in the rocks and fell into bed every night, feeling tired but completely fulfilled and happy.
Etretat is such an amazing village in Normandy, more than once I was stunned by the beauty of its nature. When looking out the window early in the morning, you could see the locals walking through the quiet cobblestone streets. Most of them on their way to the market to get some fresh bread and cheese, and perhaps some wine and olive to top it off. I think it’s safe to say I lost my heart in this beautiful part of France.
If you want to see with your own eyes how beautiful this village is, be sure to check out the video we made below this post. But first let us introduce you to one of the most amazing couples we know: Joke and Ben!
Love,
