Love is friendship that has caught fire. It is quiet understanding, mutual confidence, sharing and forgiving. It is loyalty through good and bad times. It settles for less than perfection and makes allowances for human weaknesses - Ann Landers

Pre wedding photographer Paris

Karen + Cyril

Where do we begin to explain how great this pre wedding photoshoot in Paris was.

It became clear to us when mailing with Karen the photoshoot would be beyond stylish, with every idea she told us about, we started looking forward to it more and more.

We started early morning at the Trocadero and were spoiled with the most amazing sunset. The day couldn't have begun any better.

From the Tour Eiffel to the Louvre, from the Jardin du Luxembourg to a picturesque Paris café, with every location we visited it became clearer this shoot turned out simply stunning .

Feel free to see yourself and wander along with us on the streets of beautiful Paris. Because forever the city of love it will be.

Shot on Canon 5D III, Contax 645 and Canon 1N. Scanned at Meinfilmlab

Winterwedding Fonteinhof Borgloon

Winter, it’s kinda magical. While outside fall is still very present in all it’s beautiful warm colors, mornings are filled with crispy air, a little fog and a few sunbeams to go with it.

Katrien and Filip chose to get married in this magical time of the year. On top they chose the most beautiful location that only added to the magic.

All of that combined with the most gorgeous styling and most beautiful flowers and a whole lot of love, their wedding day couldn’t have been any better. It was a day to never forget.

Engagement session / Etretat Normandy France

Joke + Ben

When Joke and Ben came to our studio to talk about their wedding, there was this instant connection. We talked and talked and time went by so quickly, it felt like they were friends we had known for a long time.

So when they asked us to got to Normandy  with them for their engagement session we couldn’t be more delighted! As expected we enjoyed three days of fun, laughter and lots of photos! Oh and food! Lots of food! That’s what you get when traveling with a chef.

For the photos we took them up to the cliffs at sunset, down to the sea and even in the somewhat cold water. But for the right picture, they were willing to go all the way. We climbed on the cliffs, walked through tunnels in the rocks and fell into bed every night, feeling tired but fulfilled.

Etretat is such an amazing village, more than once I was stunned by the beauty of it’s nature. When looking out the window early in the morning you could see the locals walking through the quiet cobblestone streets on their way to the market to get fresh bread and cheese. Oh yes, I certainly lost part of my heart there!

If you want to see with your own eyes how beautiful this village is, be sure to check out the video we made below this post. But first let us introduce you to one of the most amazing couples we know: Joke and Ben!

Meet Carina and David

I’m a lot of things: a wife, a mommy, a friend, a daughter, a photographer, but an actress is not really on that list.

So when the idea of making a video about ourselves came up, I burst into cold sweat. Because if there are two things I don’t like it’s hearing my own voice on video and seeing myself on video.

But, the idea was there and plans were made to start filming.

We’ve been filming at different times spread over a week. Enter awkward… But than the video slowly started taking shape while being edited and I actually even liked it. I admit, I did get bothered by all the little things we all hate about ourselves, but when I really looked at it, I felt like it was real.

It was us. We do like to goof around and to laugh a lot. And well, I could really eat pizza every day.

But more than that, this video reflects our love for each other.

Enjoy!

Love,
